Vice President, Credentialing Support

Position Summary
The responsibilities of the Vice President, Credentialing Support include:
  • Create a more connected professional pathway and network for coaching in the Chapter.
  • Attend ICF Global Leadership Forum.
  • Attend ICF New Jersey Charter Chapter monthly Board meetings and chapter events.
  • Support and defend policies and programs adopted by the Board of Directors.
  • Serve as voting member of the ICF New Jersey Charter Chapter Board of Directors.
  • Build partner alliances with coach educational programs.
    • Identify coaching education providers in the area to establish partnerships. 
    • Offer (pre-approved) live presentations with discount codes for students to join the ICF New Jersey Charter Chapter.
    • Annual report on the number of coaching education providers ICF New Jersey Charter Chapter presented to and the number of conversions of students to membership.
  • Educate and support ICF New Jersey Charter Chapter members through the ICF credentialing process.
    • Ensure programming resource materials are available and accessible to support the credentialing process.
    • Advertise and participate in the ICF Global Credentialing Campaign.
    • Advertise and participate in ICF Quarterly Credentialing Q&A calls.
    • Support new candidates through the credentialing process.
    • Annual report on the number of webinars attended by the chapter and the number of chapter members.  
  • Track and grow the ICF New Jersey Charter Chapter’s credentialed members:
    Non-credentialed to credential
    ACC to ACC         ACC to PCC
    PCC to PCC         PCC to MCC
    MCC
  • Conduct transition meeting with a successor.
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned by the ICF New Jersey Charter Chapter President, President-Elect, or Board.
  • General Responsibilities:
    • Maintains procedural documentation of the position processes and role description
    • Provide input to Communications and Marketing to promote and develop strategic relationships for the Chapter
    • Work closely with the ICF New Jersey Charter Chapter Programs Co-Vice Presidents and Membership Co-Vice President to ensure consistency of messaging to build brand awareness
    • Cultivate IDEAS (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility and Solidarity) for the Board and the Chapter
  • Support awareness of ICF Global Vision, Mission, Values and Strategic Plan initiatives

Estimated Time Requirements:
  • General responsibilities – 8 hours per month
  • Preparation and participation in Board meetings – 4 hours per month
  • Estimated Time: 8-12 hours per month

Experience/Qualifications:
  • Required:
    • Member in good standing of the Chapter
    • Nominated to the Board of Directors by the Nominating and Elections Committee
    • Be voted into office by a vote of members of the Chapter
    • Confirmed in the role by the Board of Directors
  • This role serves as a potential pathway to Presidential leadership within the Board
